Robert W. Poole, Jr. est directeur des études sur les transports à la Reason Foundation, un groupe de réflexion sur le marché libre qu'il a fondé. Ingénieur formé au MIT, M. Poole a conseillé les quatre dernières administrations présidentielles sur les questions de transport et de politique.
