Astri Suhrke est chercheur principal à l'Institut Chr. Michelsen à Bergen, en Norvège. Politologue, elle a étudié les politiques humanitaires. Son dernier livre (avec Howard Adelman) est The Path of a Genocide : The Rwanda Crisis from Uganda to Zaire (1999).
